I just pulled a Zegna jacket with no visible problems that fits me perfectly from a thrift shop for $2. It has the "Soft" label as well as a Louis, Boston label. Only problem(?) is that it doesn't have lining apart from the top part of the jacket. There aren't any noticeable points that lining was torn off - was it made this way, modified, or is it just busted? Is it worth trying to fix if it is a problem?

Thanks, I've been reading through the forum for several months and it has been a great help dressing me for interviews as well as just socially.

It's quarter lined, done on purpose to make it more breathable. A lot of high end jackets, like from Oxxford, seem to have this feature.

Thanks for the quick reply, I guess I got quite a steal after all.
