Was wondering if I could get some advice on this jacket. Is this orphaned? or is it possible that it is a sport coat?

Also, if it's a suit jacket, do you think one could pull this off without matching pants? What sort of pants may complement this?

P.S. Does anybody know anything about this designer?

By the way, it is double breasted, no vents, and two button, virgin wool. I tried to get better pictures but my camera battery died.
