The only film I know of that provides us with a lot of details about yuppies lifestyle is 'American Psycho'. Have you seen any other movies describing yuppies lifestyle? I haven't.

I also wonder if anyone here knows films or series (not necessary about yuppies) where the plot revolves around some men who pays a lot of attention to their clothes, fitness, skincare, flossing, etc. I can scarcely think of 'Wall Street' and 'Suits' .

    Yuppy Lifestyle:
    Fight Club

Movies where men focus on clothes etc:
Crazy, Stupid, Love (which isn't very good)
    Zoolander (for comedic effect)

There is no yuppines in Fight Club. This movie sucks as a matter of fact. I'm surprised it has a cult status.

The mall scene where he throws the shoes away was great. Lol

Haven't seen Bonfire of the Vanities and Big Chill. I'm going to watch it though the first one has very low IMDB ratings.

I would say the main character starts out as a yuppie, or at least aspiring yuppie and the whole movie is predicated on his rebelling against that. The whole Ikea shopping thing seems very yuppie to me.

No one should ever watch Bonfire of the Vanities. Please, please, just read the book. I read the book and then watched the movie and it makes me cringe every time I think of it. I've never seen such a poor adaptation of another book. Truly terrible. And not terrible in the you should watch it to see how terrible it is kind of way, just awful. Bruce Willis even said the movie was terrible in an interview.

Bonfire of the Vanities is a great novel made into a really lousy movie.

I have just took a look at some shots from the movie. It turned out the Bateman's secretary is starring there. What a coincidence. Lol
