Yuketen shoes generally run more narrow than Quoddy... I do believe that a lot of them are made in 'e' width, those would be comparable to a quoddy D.

Not sure where all the posted shops are and I'm not interested enough to look at those I'm not famliar with, but I believe that, at least for some shoemakers, a European "E" is equivalent to a US "D." For example, look at the sizing chart from Sanders & Sanders. Maybe the shoes marked "E" are for the European market? Or maybe you're just shit out of luck. No Yuketens for you...

Yes, I actually know the guys that run the Tres bien shop. Despite all the pictures and the claims, they told me they do not carry Yuketen "E" widths.
Actually, in europe, nobody has heard of "E" widths....shoes usually come only in one width for any given size.

The Tres bien shop folks did, however, tell me that one of the advantages of Quoddy was that you could order directly from Quoddy, widths ranging from US B to US EEE....so it is more customizable.
Quoddy is having quite the rep among the fashionista hipsters of London in particular....

Without publically divulging private jokes and private comments, the width issue has again to do with Yuketen's target market, where "E" widths are not really in demand.

thanks for the link to that photo. however, if you e-mail them at tresbienshop....and yes, they speak fluent English...they will tell you that despite the pictures, they have no E width...everything is medium width (= American "D").
A.L.Z. Exists to troll this board. It is currently 4:50 AM in Sweden. It was considerably earlier when you allegedly emailed them. I don't know why you are committed to making up that E width don't exist. It is really weird. Not a chance TBS responded to you in the middle of the night. In other words, LOL. The shoes in my sig are E for fucks sake.

if i may chime in here, not to take sides in the clusterfuck, but yeah alz did e-mail tresbienshop last thursday. he creamed to the quoddy loafers that heartlessphil posted and wanted them so bad. i thought they were cool too but i did not fucking freak out for them. he told me they did not have them in his size as if i cared. alz must have fucking wide ass paddle feet and he was complaining that alden indys also don't fit him or some shit. judging from his profile he is size 46 and waist size 38 which is fucking football player so he is having trouble finding his size. just fyi. please do not diss me back just move on if you don't care like adults.

    + 2 votes is a landslide?

he lives on another planet clearly where +2 is a landslide and where wideass feet are normal and he expects online stores to carry his freak sizes.

Good god, man. No different widths in Europe? I guess all those size charts on Northamptonshire shoemakers websites are just for show. Just because the overwelming majority of shoes are manufactured to a certain width (as in the US as well), doesn't mean there are not different widths available. Your responses make you sound as if you're six years old.

actually, i wasn't referring to english shoes....i was referring to continental (european) shoes. i don't think any of the italian companies manufacture E widths, but i could be wrong....

and also, is the age insult really necessary?

I'm actually surprised you manage to turn on a computer, navigate to this site and type. I'd put you at about 14 though, versus six.
