Got a chance to talk with Yuki Matsuda at Rose Bowl Flea. Very nice guy who's really passionate about the clothes + shoes he puts out.

So I'm going to pull the trigger on some guide chukkas and as I'm in Australia I'll have to order from the web store , the ones I'm after are out of stock my size , no problem the page says to mail and order a personal pair , my question is has anyone done this and how was the experience ?
And if you get a personal order can you customise colour ?
Cheers

What's the general size advice for Yuketen? Looking to get my first pair. I'm 11US brannock with thick socks but usually wear anything from 10.5US to 11.5US.

I've always sized down half a size. I'm a size 9D on the Brannock and take an 8.5 in Yuketen. Their lasts are fairly wide.

Depends on what you are looking at. Yuketen uses factories in the USA, Mexico, Canada, and perhaps elsewhere. The shoes and boots made in the USA are TTS in my experience. Their footwear made in Mexico and Canada tends to run a half to a full size big. It is best to try on first or buy from a place that offers easy returns or exchanges.

Anyone know if there’s a version of these that are black?
Also opinions on the brown ones?

I like those quite a bit, but personally I would go for their 3-eye-ish style (Angler Moc w/ Lug sole) over those though.

you mean these? Cus I already have them.

I am specifically looking for a pair of loafers with a chunky sole. I was hoping I’d find one in black tho
