Wow, cordovan too, excellent deal!
Strangely, another pair is available on Marrkt for >$1,000. Are these the same model? https://www.marrkt.com/collections/yuketen/products/yuketen-superior-short-hunt-boots-bnl-01

Yuki himself was a guest on the Stitchdown podcast! Listen here.

If you're really familiar with Yuki it doesn't delve too deep into any one subject but it's a fascinating listen nonetheless and you get a sense of how personable and genuinely excited Yuki gets about vintage clothing, footwear, design, etc. They touch on the start of Yuketen, the culmination of design that lead to the Maine Guide boot, his dealings with factories and how he got his first break in the world of clothing design.

Hi everyone,

Jumping in this thread with the usual sizing question. I'd like to buy some Yuketen country rangers, and found a used pair for a good price in a size 9. I'm a Brannock 9.5, so in theory that's a half-size too small, according to both Yuketen's website and the seller, which both say they fit TTS.

I've scoured this thread for sizing advice and seen a several people say they go down a half size in rangers since they fit pretty wide, the leather can stretch, etc. However, all those posts are like 10 years old and I could believe Yuketen has changed their sizing since then.

What do you all think, worth giving a shot? For more references I wear a 9.5 in most sneakers, 9 in Nike AF1s (since they're chunkier) and an 8.5 in Red Wing Iron Rangers.

I think you'll be fine. I'm a 9 in Nike and a size 8 Maine Guide boot fits me well. Everyone is different of course. I hope they work for you! The country ranger is very comfortable.

Thanks! Do the Maine Guide and Ranger fit similarly to each other? Other old posts suggest fit varies quite a bit between different Yuketen models.

Their moccasin construction footwear should fit very similarly to one another, being on the same last. Always check and double check size charts!
