YSL shoes?

I picked up a pair of YSL boots yesterday - I really liked the styling, the leather seemed decent, I needed a pair of smart(-ish!) boots and the fit is very comfortable so no regrets about the purchase.

What I'm wondering is does anyone know what construction these shoes are and who makes them?

They've got visible stitching on the sole, so I know they're not glued. They seem surprisingly robust.

I've googled up an image of the shoe too: these in brown. Too lazy to snap photos of the sole, sorry.

PS. Apologies for cross-posting this, I didn't get a response after almost a day on AAAC, so figured it would be worth trying here.
