I probably would have picked something off "Define" myself. A handful of Deftones (My Own Summer, Rickets, Engine No. 9), a handful of Tool (Parabola, Forty Six & 2), a handful of Thursday (At This Velocity), a handful of Thrice (Paper Tigers), a handful of Strung Out (Razor Sex, Her Name in Blood), some Slayer (Angel of Death, etc.), and some QOTSA (Infinity).

Dude how slow do you run to have time for all those songs in one 100m sprint?

not a fan of the band really, but I figure

"the distance" by cake

is rather appropriate.

A friend, a marathoner, likes listening to Iron Maiden's "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner" while running. Go figure. To prep for a sprint (I used to be a sprinter), I'd pick something like Metallica's "Four Horsemen."

Personally I would go with something that relaxes me and clears my head. Something like Blue October - Into the Ocean
