I really wanted some Jack Purcells, but I've read the quality has become terrible over the years. Looking at them, the leather seems very thin, fake, and would show age within a year or two.
Then I found these bad boys on ebay. Supposedly, they are anywhere from a decade or two old. Same design, but look at the leather! Very old shoes, still looks great, and they seem indestructible. The only downside is the brogue might seem a bit strange for a modern fashion sneaker. I don't think it'll look too strange. What are your thoughts? Are they as applicable as today's Jack Purcells? Better? Worse?
