I really like the styling on Zara's website, and these two looks are pretty much my summer look in a nutshell. [IMG] [IMG]
I actually just bought the navy jacket you have pictured here yesterday. It's cut really slim. I'm normally a 38 and I had to step up to a 40. It's super comfortable. The material is a really thick jersey with some spandex in it and I'd say it's easily as comfortable as a cotton cardigan. I'd say a good buy for the seventy bucks it costs.

I'm all for the slouchy casual jacket look, and the colors are good, but those shirts look like they belong on a ballerina.

And the model is showing about the same amount of cleavage with that low neckline.

Those kinds of low-cut scoop-neck tees are really common around here, actually. I don't find them very feminine at all, unless you wax your chest. They rather make me think of wife-beaters -- and what could be manlier than that! [IMG] For an actual flesh-and-blood guy pulling off this look see Sartorialist darling Milan Vukmirovic, and also Jude Law, obviously:

^^ They all look like douchebags.

The 2 on the right don't have the cleavage line,
but they make up for it with their Capri pants.

Unfortunately, summer in the south sucks my soul dry of any desire to wear a tie or anything constricting around my neck. CBD be damned.. Here are some oldies, mainly casual fits:

Unlined coats are also a must:

And of course, the dread "linen/cotton blend":

And who could forget the khaki suit?

What about for more casual non-jacketed situations ? (The majority of summer) I mostly do linen pants and dress shoes, with an untucked short sleeve shirt. I guess this summer will be the same, unless I think of something different. [IMG]

Gnatty, that first pic is a great look. Love the madras plaid under the navy cotton jacket and white pants.

I agree. Somehow it doesn't come off as "sailor boy" b/c of the madras shirt. Possibly the only white pants outfit I've seen that looks sort of normal in real life.

Thanks man, about the only kind of shirt that really looks right with white trousers to my eye..
