You can still be a peasant and get a better shave by ditching the M3. 2 blades much better than 3

Gillette SuperSpeed
Israeli Personal blades
Simpsons PJ2
Usually Truefitt & Hill 1805 (But I have a couple of other soaps to mess around with)
Thayers Witch Hazel

Damn fine shave, even though I still have to keep a cartridge razor on hand for when I shave my head on the occasion I do. Not brave enough to do it with a DE razor.

Truefitt and Hill kit with badger brush and razor (Mach 3 blade)
T&F or Body Shop soaps

For travel, a Gilette Sensor, and a small tube of soap which I use my hand to lather

I use Taylor's of Old Bond Street set. Oil, Shaving soap and badger brush. I picked it up in London last September and met Leonard Taylor himself.

Not sure why you claim this is better than the Mach3? It is what I used to use before my brother convinced me to try the latter.
