As a Dodger fan, I should naturally hate the SF Giants but with a cast of characters like Brian Wilson and Tim Lincecum the team is just difficult to hate.

this seems almost reasonable

(nb: I live a mile from the Rangers Ballpark In Arlington, so I could save a grand and just see a game there, but that doesn't seem nearly as fun)

I'm kind of torn. On one hand I like the Rangers story this year. On the other, the Giants history of losing speaks to my love of the underdog.

Im obviously bummed about the Phillies...

Both teams played pretty well during the series. I would say the Phillies underperformed a bit and the Giants overperformed a bit. In the end, Philly stranded too many baserunners.

I wasn't crazy about Howard's rich new contract, and even less so after this post season. I would have rather seen them try to hang onto Werth and grab Pujols in another year..
