just a hypothetical situation. boots excluded and we assume that the decent quality shoes are at the very least durable and goodyear welted from a reputable manufacturer. Let's say these shoes are paired with a business wardrobe that is semi-conservative (suits are rare) Monday -Thursday and casual on Friday.
Say you can own 5 pair of dress shoes. 4 of them have to be in decent quality and 1 in great quality. Which style/color/leather would you splurge on for that 1 great-quality shoe, along with the other 4 pairs.
For example:
4 decent: black captoes, tan wingtip, dark brown monks, merlot brogue captoes (all calf leather)
1 great-quality: ruby shell captoe
