I stumbled upon this. Do the lapels look abnormally large? I can get this for a great price but I don't own a gray suit, only charcoal. What are your thoughts?

Thank you

It's OK if you own a nightclub. Or an advertising firm. Or if your sugar-mommy is paying for it.

But otherwise, no....

This looks comical. I'm serious. If you worked in fashion, or were an actor, or were sort of whimsical or flambouyant in personality and a designer or something, then maybe. but in any 'real'/serious work environment?, no.

If you keep the shirt and tie conservative I personally think its fine.

I think it depends heavily on your personality. If you're an easygoing, genuinely nice and likeable person sometimes you can carry off such things and carry them off well. If you're a douche, well then people will be like "that figures."

My manager when I worked in a clothing store wore beautiful suits with massive lapels all the time, but they worked on his frame, and he was a genuinely really nice guy so it worked really well for him. Its all in HOW you wear it, methinks.

Nothing wrong with large lapels, but there is something diffinetly a little weird going on with that suit, I can't put my finger on it. I think if you directed some vintage Appreciation, it would work nicely...

Haha! Thanks, fellas. The lapels do look abnormally large and I'm glad I received some affirmation about the suit too.

I think I'm going to pass on it
