Brandy is a good way. My great grandmother drank brandy-laced tea (coffee too, but less often) almost daily and lived to be 94.

I like brandy in coffee, and on a similar note whiskey in tea is wonderful.

I have some Masshole-mick-guido-type friends who like Sambuca in their coffee. It makes me wretch.

There is no beverage more foul than Sambuca. I hate, hate, hate, hate that stuff.

It is really awful.

No way. Grappa is great. Maggie Smith's character in My House in Umbria was constantly plastered off of grappa.

Maybe I have only had bad grappa. That is probably likely. But all the stuff I have had tasted like paint thinner smells.

When I drank, I was known to add Kahlua or Amaretto to my coffee.

I had "fresh" grappa when I was in Italy and that was the best I've come across.

It's from Italy so I consider it fresh.

I had "fresh" grappa at this restraunt across the street from the Vatican and it was some of the nastiest liquor I have ever tasted. Raki, on the other hand, isn't bad. I don't think either would be good for coffee.
