Isaia started out as my favourite, and I still love it, but I have developed a thing for Cantarelli. It's more like a 1a and 1b kind of thing...

You mean the rejects of Spano in outlets?

Well, the rejects that my favorite pusher can find for me. [IMG]

It is not like Spano is easily found in New Orleans. But, go ahead and be a douche, it is expected on SF.

I'd say boglioli as I love their fit and the relaxed feel of their garment dyed, unconstructed jackets.

Openness about the products. Value. Customer service/experience.

Where do you work, BTW? Might be nice to put that in your post, full disclosure and all that. [IMG]

Cashmere hacking jacket made for RLPL by Chester Barrie. Too bad they aren't making clothes anymore.

I actually really dislike the customer service experience at Paul Stuart. The moment you walk in there are 3 sales guys following you around the store like a hawk hungry for commission. If I need help, I'll ask.

Canali is my favorite for my price point, a 42 L fits me very well with slight alterations to the jacket. I drool over the brioni but at more than double the price its not in the cards.

I rarely go there because of this. I was in one recently only for a few minutes before becoming frustrated and leaving. And there is another that I've stopped going to altogether because of constant pestering.

the fit on Polo ranges so much though. I picked up a Polo suit in 40L that fits as if it were custom made for me. Then another size 40 suit is too wide in the shoulders, too large in the chest, too large in the armholes, too large in the waist. All by a large margin. But I do like Polo for their price/availability.

You do realise that they are different models within the Polo line, right?

They don't all just fit the same.

yes, but then how is the "fit" a reason for liking it if they all fit very differently... you're very likely to find at least one or some that will fit well if there's such a large range.
