With the warm weather approaching, I will be acquiring my first seersucker suit this spring. Im not quit sure what style and color of shoe would work best with this syle of suit.

It would be great to get some feedback AND PICS of your favorite style and color of shoe that you wear with your seersucker.

Appreciate any input!

I prefer anything over a white buck -- they look too costumey to me...

If you're fully decked out in a seersucker suit, I think slightly darker shoes are the last things you have to worry about if you're concerned with looking costumey. Personally, I like white bucks, dirty bucks, or specs.

Spectators. I switch between wing tip spectators and captoe spectators.

I prefer a chestnut color captoe (e.g., AE Byron) with my seersucker.

I got a great deal on a seersucker at the end of last summer and haven't worn in yet. I'm also in the market for shoes. I plan on wearing my seersucker to a couple summer outdoor (more casual weddings) this summer.

In the latest Saks men's catalog there was a page advertising Tod's navy blue drivers and the person wearing them had seersucker pants on. I liked the contract of color of the navy blue to the seersucker. Since I wouldn't be wearing any socks, do you guys think this look is too casual even for an outdoor wedding in New England and LA? BTW, my wife is in one of the weddings and she will be wearing a navy blue dress - I think it would be a great touch to have something that slightly matches her.

J does sometimes, usually, IINM, integrated into a WAYWN shot...

Black shoes look OK w/ grey seersucker. White or dirty bucks for blue. Don't do red/green/yellow/orange/etc.
