If you had to pick one, what would it be?

Even though Bangle & Co. have been pissing me off lately, I still love it.

For me, a tie.

If based on the marque's total output I'd go with the former because the DS, 2CV, and Traction Avant are so far beyond anything anyone else was doing at The time. And in most non-silicon ways, better than anyone else is doing today. If based on their lines today, I'd go with Lotus because the Elise is the only real sportscar sold today.

The one I love and own, Land Rover. Please, no need to remind me of the faults of British engineering.

My daily commuter, a W124 Benz from '87, has instilled in me a tremendous appreciation for Mercedes Benz and I will by a modern one eventually as I like their styling and the engineering is top notch.

How about the British electrical systems? You need any reminder there?

Unfortunately, modern Benz's aren't anywhere close to even being a smidgen (am I making my point clearly enough?) as good, when it comes to quality or craftsmanship as your '87 E-Class.

Lotus, Porsche.

It seems like everyone in Austin has an Elise, more so than any other high-end vehicle. One day, I will try to race one in my Accord.

Austin or BMW?

I rather like Lancia as well although like any other auto firm their late model cars are unattractive and cheap.
