1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Brentwood. I keep hoping they'll bring it back--mine have served me well for many years, but it would be nice to replace them.

    Players Shoe in Chocolate Suede.

Works well with most of my clothing and it fits the best of all my AE shoes.

I have the oddest erection for the Fifth Street boot (dark brown burnished calf) at the moment.

Quote: My first AE's were the Arlington, in black calf. I'd be tickled if I could get find a pair in 12D.

Thanks to finding SF I now have purchased three pairs (in two months mind you) of AE's..

    Brown Kenilworths
    Walnut Strands
    Chili Vernon

Hands down the Strands are the sexiest..

Allen Edmonds Cole Shell Cordovan, in Mahogany shell, very similar to Alden LHS but without the tightness in the strap. A dream to wear!

That shoe looks so much better than any of the loafers that AE currently sells. I wish AE would stick with it when they have a winner.

For me, lots of brushing and occasional Saphir is just enough to keep them nice and soft.

Funny you should ask, last month purchased the Williams instead of the Alden. Been away from work on paternity/parental leave since then so I actually haven't had occasion to wear them yet however very much looking forward to it.
