Your Expert Opinion on my new Jacket

the jacket length is too short.
the left shoulder looks low, unless you are standing crooked.

Jacket is too short. You need a ??L. The shoulders are over stuffed. I don't know enough about these things to say if the shoulder problem is the cut or size or both. If you didn't have doubts, you wouldn't have posted these pictures. Bag it and move on.

I'd wear that length with jeans. I'd even say the length is pretty spot on for that use. See the Denim 101 thread for other examples. The cut looks like other Phillipa K jackets I've seen, ie. very sharp extended shoulders, and seems to work very well from the front and side shots (nobody else seems to agree with me

). However from the back, the pulling under the arms makes it look a little tight in the chest area, and shoulders look a bit off. Maybe it's a bad match of posture and cut?

Shoulders seem off. The length is fine for a more casual look but if you were wearing it with odd trousers it would be too short. If you are a 42 L why did you go with the 42 R? Was it so you could achieve the shorter length look?
