1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Best:
Oly. barbell, 255 lbs. in plates, squat rack, starting strength book

With Rippetoe's SS, you're gonna need a helluva lot more than 255 lbs., especially if you drink the milk like he suggests.

no way you can use more than half of the 255 at any one time
If you weigh anywhere between about 150 and 255, deadlifting 255 is not too bad.

Why would you buy only what you can lift? Jesus...
    +1, buy double

Worst: Probably a pair of Incotex that are a tad too tight. I bought these during the late summer Incotex craze. Chalk it up to a lesson learned.

I deadlift 210 now; am still going up 5 lbs./week.

    Exactly

Well, including the bar, I've got 300 lbs. Milk or no milk, that should last me another couple months. [IMG]

Most Worn Purchases: SExDBxS09 denim, W+H Melton Wool button down, Tanner Belt, Gitman S/S, W+H polos and tees

Renewed love (purchased in 08 but wore way more in 09): J Crew x Red Wings

Worst Purchase: W+H MK-2 from S/S. Never fit right--shelled out a ton of cash for it. CDW Vest--fit way too puffy even for a down vest.

Off the top of my head:

Best: NdG tweed blazer, Ervell Fair Isle, Barney's Desert Boot (warehouse sale), EG camp shirt

Worst: APC cords (nice cords, but not worth $210, and may have to have tailor do a slight taper to make it wearable), Steven Alan stuff

Best: s2a flannel, APC s/s white shirt, APC s/s narrow plaid shirt, Spurr shirt, mmm shirt, red wing chukkas, uniqlo flannels, kzo flannel.

Worst: nada. My new years' resolution was to stop fucking around with impulse buys or pieces I "thought" I could fit into my wardrobe.
