Really curious what everyone here would get if given a free $500 and it had to be spent on wardrobe (clothing, shoes, accessories) ?

I would use the money to fulfill a need only and not a desire. If I had no immediate need, I would put it in the bank until a need presented itself, however long that may take. When a need finally arrived, I would make my purchase and again thank the person who had given me the gift.

^^^^ As above, it goes in the bank, and if need arises, would use that money towards a necessary item.

If the money came with a constraint it had to be spent the day you receive it, I probably would seek out an item I feel would do best on eBay. The money from that would be used as and when seen necessary and sufficient.

I fully support this. I don't think you have enough of them.

Keep the money because that is probably not going to be enough to get what I want, use it as a surplus when there is a need for stuff.
