    I am such a noob. I own both selvedge and non-selvedge jeans, yet I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between them nor have I spent any time trying to understand the difference. All I've learned from this forum is you should turn your pant leg up to expose the unique looking selvedge seam as an advertisement to the world.
