Yoox XXL = 44?

Hi Guys,

so I am looking at some MMM shirts on yoox. when I was looking for shirts I used the size filter and clicked on XXL. I wear an XL or even a Large in Polo shirts (the large fits my body but neck is too big) for size reference. So when the filter goes through, there are a few nice shirts that are included, but they say 44 instead of XXL.

I wear a 44 suit in Polo, but 46 in European designers. So would these shirts fit me? what is a size 44 dress shirt like?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A 44 Italian shirt is 44 cm or 17.25" neck.
