All the iGents of this world want to buy clothes, then they visit Yoox and never feel like shopping again...

How can anyone actually shop from that site with those crappy item photos? Every single thing they sell looks cheap, creased and baggy in those pics, 5 sizes bigger than the models they use. If they simply put the clothes on the carpet and took photos, I'd be more willing to buy something from their site.

I've commented on that before. How anyone can find a $600 sweater appealling in those awful manneguin shots is beyond me.

It would be nice if they also provided the SRL sizing in addition to that of the chest.

^I agree with you, but I think Yoox is best for those who already know their sizes and such in certain brands. For example, I know without fail I'm a 48 in brand X. So, I order that and, usually, the fit is right and the "chance" is worth it for the 90% off retail it was.

BUT, it's a terrible site for "perusing" or window shopping or trying new stuff. When I buy things from brands I don't know already, I generally end up returning MOST of it.

So, it seems like Yoox would more than make up for the extra money it would spend in doing real measurements/pictures in savings on returns.

I'd say they probably some of the highest volume of returns of ANY retailer. I probably return half of the stuff I order, given that their descriptions and such aren't great.

I don't think their prices are that cheap.

For most brands, one can get almost the same prices during sales...

Agreed. If you look there now you can find at least one item which is still available in the sales at a lower price on another website. Some of their stock if priced higher than the original retail too. Avid perusers of yoox might remember that tan mohair Burberry sportscoat inexplicably priced at over £900 that was little more than £700 at matches the previous summer.

I just purchased a Sartorio suit for right around $400 and have noticed that some of the Boglioli stuff is extremely will priced. If this isn't a good deal, please tell me where I could have found something similar for less?

Yoox is all about timing. They have very nice deals during special promotions each year.

I have to agree - the photos, and descriptions, are terrible. If they got their act together, their sales would be so much higher.
