Yoox.com - long sizes in jackets?

Has anyone seen long sizes (42L, etc.) - or for that matter, short - sizes in suits/jackets on yoox.com? Seems everything is in regular sizes (40, 42, etc.)...I called customer service and they simply stated that everything is "online" and the description should suffice...I would disagree unless they simply only purchase regular sizes to sell...

I was just about to post the same question. This is one of the many reasons I hate Yoox.

I find the Yoox site to be painful to navigate and the fact they don't list their longs has kept me from buying anything from them. Their site is a great example of awful user interface.

agree with all of the above. and add terrible mannequins and buttoning to the list. at the same time, you can get some real gems from yoox.

The website AND customer service suck. I tried to get just a simple idea about fit and they had no ******* idea and weren't prepared to find out.

I'm under the impression they either don't have longs or they just don't list them as such. I've never seen one.

I need longs for apparel so I can't buy clothes from them either.

I have bought shoes but they ship the wrong pair or size about 30-40% of the time.

As all the suits are on the model, you can judge the length by how they fit him. A lot of the time the sleeves are too short, but the body length isn't too bad. He's tall, but I think it's mostly in the limbs.

I talked with them just last night, and reiterated that I wanted to buy a jacket or two, but had no idea of the body length (I too need longs). She said, after keeping me on hold a long time, that "all the info is online, and that with thousands of items, they have no way of taking such measurements." I didn't respond that if they wanted to sell more they would find a way.

With new cropped styles, even known brands have become a complete crap shoot. And these "Samples" are unreturnable; so to me, they mean unsaleable.

I have had great luck with their shoes though.

It's a shame they can't be bothered taking a tape to a jacket in order to give this simple but important detail. Descriptions of trousers usually include width at the ankle, so it's not as if they never add anything beyond what's on the label.

That said, I have had some great buys from Yoox and I use it a lot.

Just took a crap shoot on a $1200 Luciano Barbera tweed field shooting jacket (non-returnable) for $210 on Yoox Sample sale.

Though I need a long in sport coats, I figure this outer jacket ought to be long enough, especially since it even features a waist draw cord. (rear view with button below image) I was tempted by the other Barbera linen sport coat, but it looks unconstructed and probably more cropped than their traditional coats, so that was not an acceptable gamble.

Also got a pair of orange! Replay sneakers for $30 and a Hollywood Milano baseball cap for $30 (clearly no bargain, but I liked the color).

Who knows, maybe this field jacket will turn up offered on here next September!

I have the same issue with Mr. Porter. It's impossible to buy suits or sportcoats from these sites because they refuse to acknowledge that many men need long sizes. Since when did a long size become unusual? These sites want to convince you that everyone's a regular now and that jackets should be worn shorter. Complete BS. They just dont want to stock long sizes. I have no problem finding longs in department stores in the US for brands like Zegna, Brioni, etc. There is no reason these virtual stores can't stock them as well. Until then, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I have seen long and short sizes on Yoox but only for Armani sport coats and suits. Good luck with other brands.
