i would wager that 3 is better for 9-9.5
wanna buy them ???
i'm 5'10"/ 150 lbs, the 2 should fit me by the look of it. but 17.5" is the shoulder measurement i would look for in a tailored jacket, does that lack of volume make it 'pointless' as wireartist says?
I would need closer to 8.5/9 so perhaps a 2
CP size 42 chelsea already pushing the length at 12.25" and I'm only 5'10
^ will let you know more later then ...

I am hoping to spring for this instead. I sold a light grey jacket a while back, and I have to sell the LEU shirt-jacket, which means I have no grey left
Here is some grey for someone.
gettoasty you might just have to pick those up and try them out unfortunately. I am not even sure what season those boots are from.
the shah that jacket is cool. Same one I posted a while back actually. I will also keep an eye out for a boiled wool jacket just for you shah
Collected these from a tumblr page (whose url I have forgotten at the moment) a while back and thought I would share.
Shall we do a Yohji ads compilation then ?
That would be great, yes
thanks man. I really like that suit. for me, it's got the right blend of 'classic' elements and yohji design. plus, I love cotton suits (sorry, shah) and navy. no need to take the link down, but i will def.throw a bid in the ring. i'm 5'8" , 150lb. and the specs are about the same as most of my other jackets.. which are moderately loose. so it' won't be oversize, but it will be slightly roomy. the pants on the other hand! 36 inch waist, whoa. i'll need the rope tie for this. will def. post pics if i'm successful .
fwiw, i recently bought a few coming soon pants from yoox: cotton twill with safari pockets and a dressier pair of linen-wool which have buttons for braces and patch back pockets, and some striped pajama style pants with string closures at waist and ankle. the cut and drape is nice on all of these, esp. the dressier pair. the construction is not up to mainline quality, but i was still pretty impressed for the price. i got a size 46 (euro size) and the waist is about a 34-35", so yeah, i can see that sizing is more about the length than width.
carry on, yohji-ites.
PeterParker is joining the Yohji Clan too ??? First MoK, now him...this is great ! Ex-MC members, reprogramming and new training protocols, will send them in for infiltration missions. Their Wagnerian traditions will feel the force of the Y

I'm suspicious of that really conspicuous stain on the sleeve that "should be easy to get rid of." If it's easy to get rid of, why is it there?
On a non-Yohji tangent, I found these KVA oversized trousers that are really sharp for someone (like me) who is having trouble committing to the full-on parachute pants look. I just returned a size 50 for a 48, so the 50 should be back available soon as well. Anyway, I think they might look good with a Yohji jacket.
That's good to hear about Coming Soon quality firsthand. If you win that bid, definitely post a fit pic on here. Really like that suit as well, good luck!
Finally found some cool images with Spring 2012 pieces via.
Always liked this shirt, now I am completely sold. Definitely copping
Still making up my mind about picking up one of the longer cubist coats. Might wait until I can handle them in person...
Some more promotional and campaign images from various Yohji collections. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to sort out seasons and credits yet. One of these days will settle down to attempt to catalogue the images I have on my HDD (don't hold your breath though!).
