    Oh man!

What a collection - while it has its own prints, it's a much quieter, maybe even subdued-seeming collection than the last, but in its own way much more radical - some of the most out-there cuts of Yohji's career throughout - especially in those strappy half-jackets. Amazing.

Yohji Yamamoto-san turned up the heat! Quite literally, it's boiling hot in there, how those models looked so cool with many layers on I have no idea....

One of his best work in recent years, many, many, MANY wearable runway pieces, as separates or the whole set-ups.

Nice job sequencing the pics Shah - thanks! [IMG]

Am curious about how the graphics on the back of the coats were incorporated into the garment (i.e. sewn in, print,...)

Had only seen this on my phone earlier, but this looks really good to me as well.

Some great pieces and really awesome use of colour. Also, is that denim? ^^ (have been thinking about adding a piece or two from the Levi's Red buy on ln-cc and seeing this has pushed me over the edge, hehe)

The lapelless jackets look outstanding and so do the wide pants and the overtly Japanese-inspired clothing like in this look.

Damn, can't believe we have to wait so long before we can see anything in-store :(.

David, you totally have to sneak into the showroom and bring back an in-depth report :D.

    Nice work shah!

From what I could see irl. Yes they're denim. Again as always Yohji clothing is all about motion, some long shirts/coats had unbelievably light majestic fabrics that pics failed to capture. I will duly investigate the collection in 6 months. Meanwhile AW14 had been very promising in the store albeit a small batch sofar. The volume is back, big time and breaking those runway looks into separates works superbly with more silent pieces. And those Look 14 pants....my word, they're very serious piece of kit.

Short video of the collection up :

Really love that Chinese style jacket in look 1. The more oversized one is great as well but I don't like the "Yohji Yamamoto" written on it.

Fantastic collection overall, hope the prices are not as high as FW14, been seeing alot of talk about how unusually expensive it is - somewhat understandable with all the prints and hardware, though.

Actually, can anyone speak on this? Are FW collections usually more expensive than SS?

The most recent S/S collection seemed unusually expensive to me, so IMO it's not just an AW thing - though too an extent AW's usually going to have denser clothes and heavy coats and things which are more likely to be expensive.

I only hopped on the yohji train in late 2010 and i'd say the average price has moved somewhat - or at least i'm seeing a few more items in the conduit street store breaking the £2,000 mark (like those beautiful SS jackets that looked rain soaked).

I'd also observe that there used to be a few more jackets and things at maybe £700ish (there's an odd £900 still though I think), where as now many more seem to fall around the £1,200 1,500 mark - but this is quite rough impressions because it's not like im walking around the store with a clipboard, pulling out the price tag and taking note - but certainly when I have noticed prices, they come in quite high.

To put a positive spin on it, you could say it's a sign of how ambitious some of the recent collections have been, but I just wish it was easier for us to pay Japanese prices.

Holy, I'm not sure if this has been posted before but it is amazing!

    A segment from a Japanese show covering FW91 6.1 The Men :

I believe the two men being interviewed towards the end are Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi of Yellow Magic Orchestra.
