those are mainline, aw06, basically football shoes, i will laugh my ass off if i see someone wearing them in the street but not because of the design but because it would be the same to wear ice skates with funny prints.

I've been reading this thread for a while and just hit page 100. I've learned so much from everyone's contributions, you are an amazing group. I still have alot of catching up to do but in the meantime I thought I'd post this song I found.

Akiko Yano - “It’s for You” (Welcome Back, 1989 / Yohji Yamamoto - The Show Vol 3, 1995), played during the finale of Yohji Yamamoto Fw94. I've watched the show many times and every single time I am completely blown away at how beautiful it is. I think it was what got me very interested in Yohji in the first place.

I've heard nothing over here in Japan recently. Certainly there's nothing on the websites of either company.

this pants are without belt loops and so big i cannot wear them without suspenders , the drawstring does almost nothing, so it's like walking around with your trousers merely floating about your corpse. interesting feeling hehe

Also, I know I'm a little late on here, but... R.I.P. Lou Reed.

Lou and Yohji are in some way birds of feather in my book. Two of my personal heroes

^ Did you stitched the rolls? I can't make those fuckers stay in place when is 100 fabric...Hence I just crop lately if i want them shorter.

    excellent D !

the iteration i have are also hard to keep cuffed, seems 4 rolls is the magic number for me, any less and they come undone ...

No, the rolls are not stitched. I need them down to the heels to match other stuff. 3 rolls best for them to stay up. Twice in this case for my length preference but they get uneven. All depends really how narrow the hems are.

PS. someone just bidded 62k yen to win a non Runway AW07 Knit Insert Blazer..... If it's someone here then congrats and please show a pic in a few weeks' time. Well, he beat my pitiful low bid, I'm pleased that Rex was beaten too lol.

rex will still deny he buys from y!

i might be very lousy, never managed to have wool gabardine stay in place for more than 5 minutes  too bad because 98% of my pants are wool gabardine 100

Out of interest, would anyone more knowledgable about Yohji than me be able to tell me what season this jacket is from?
Any pictures of it on the runway as well would very much be appreciated

Well the sizing is numerical, and while I'm not exactly sure what year the change was made from S/M/L I am guessing it should be in the last 10 or so years.

Sorry, not much of a help but it's a start :p
