Well, they are pretty straight forward "creepers". The leather is really nice, soft and supple. I'm assuming you saw them on Ln cc? If so, the pictures do/did a really good job of showing how the shoes look. The soles are also toned blue which is pretty cool.

    Very nice and neat Auburn.

Looks like I really slept on those Marsell shoes. Kept thinking about picking them up then changing my mind. Looks like they will work pretty well with Yohji.

EDIT - Looking cool too David :D

Yes they were indeed from Y-3 AW09 ( the whole collection was a real triumph ).

We have only ever seen once a rack of clothes made for children for the AW11 season in the Cambon Store. They were about 400 € for a shirt and 500 € + for a blazer......that your children are gonna outgrow in no time, madness. # YY Pour Enfants :slayer:

David, love the fit, has a kendo training armor vibe to it. I think its the wide squars of the knit?

I have a question for those who've had more experience with YYPH hats (I only have one). Is there such a thing as sizing for Yohji hats, or does each style simply come in its own, single size? I'm wondering because none of the hats I've seen for sale had sizing numbers on them, and they seem to come in a range of sizes. I've seen a few that I really liked, but they were too small for me (I need a 60cm circumference). I've only seen one hat that was 60cm.

Foggy day in Shakey-town. Black seemed appropriate.

Also, Yohji is re-launching his fragrance line. The two homme scents sound quite good.

Yohji Yamamoto take us back to the future and beyond

    From Basenotes.

Yohji Yamamoto formally announced in Paris this month that they are relaunching a number of fragrances from the line's archives, as well as expanding the line with some new scents.Yamamoto's first foray in to scents was in 1996 when the company partnered with Jean Patou to launch its debut fragrance. The license was acquired by P&G Prestige in 2001, and expired in 2005.

The brand are relaunching four feminine and two masculine offerings, all of which have been reworked by Givaudan perfumer Olivier Pescheux. Pescheux spoke of "the great weight" of responsibility upon his shoulders as he reformulated the fragrances created over a decade ago by colleagues who taught him the business, but admitted he was very pleased with the results and that he had received positive feedback from the original perfumers.

Pescheux spoke at a store based launch in Paris, which was followed by a Yohji Yamamoto fashion show and an after party in Buddha Bar.

    The initial six scents are:

    Yohji Senses
Sweet neroli, lemon, fresh pear, and exotic ylang-ylang blend to deliver a vibrant bouquet complemented by sandalwood and musk, leaving the air filled with hints of fresh cut flowers, fruit and sunlight.

    Yohji
The Yohji Yamamoto fragrance that started it all, Yohji is soft, alluring and complex. Notes of bergamot, jasmine, and freesia give way to sandalwood and musk, leaving behind a warm, sweetened and beguiling mystery.

    Yohji Essential
Red comes to life as notes of clove and chamomile coyly play with linden blossom and rose, balancing perfectly with hints of musk and patchouli. This spirited and flowery fragrance evokes a refined strength and sensuality.

    Yohji Yamamoto
The fragrances of jasmine and lily alone are the epitome of femininity. Together, they create the softest, sweetest delight punctuated by a touch of pear and blackcurrant, while a subtle woody blend adds warmth and softness to this delicate array.

    Yohji Homme
Yohji Yamamoto's first fragrance for men. Yohji Homme, appeals to the urban denizen and casual nomad in all of us. Black inspired with cardamom, bergamot, and coffee notes that precede a hint of rum, cedarwood and leather, delivering a sophisticated spiced bliss.

    Yohji Yamamoto Homme
Inspired by a worldly adventure. Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme is a vibrant and invigorating blend of bergamot, lemon and sage. Harmoniously infused with notes of leather, sandalwood and cedar, this crisp fragrance evokes a decidedly spirited and powerful masculinity.

The initial fragrances will be followed by completely new creations from Pescheux. The initial roll out will begin next month in European markets such as England, Germany and Russia. We will bring you stockist and pricing information as soon as it is available.

In my experience the hats have only been one size. If you're buying online it's best to check measurements. In store you can just try it on. Sometimes they have elastic or other means of adjusting the size as well.

Let's hope there are more, although just the Balloon Peak Gab Blazer ( tried it on in Paris ) will do to complete my SS13 quest :)

    Now a bit of SS12 x SS13

YYPH SS12 Look 32 Napolean Cubism Jacket - ( HB-J39-808 ) - my personal favourite from the Runway - 100% black shirt cotton so it's a shirt jacket, unlined with 2 inside pockets. Size 2, 4B working sleeves + shoulder buttoned tabs, 2 bottom pockets. Double fronted with row of 6 buttons, worn open better than closed. Exquisite back panel Cubist patchwork construction with red striped cotton and mauve 55/45 rayon/ramie parts. Really staggering piece in person.

YYPH SS13 Look 21 Wrap Pants - the wool iteration ( HX-P15-100 ) - worn here " lightly wrapped ". 100% signature wool gabardine, size 2, fastened by thick ribbon with 7 belt lops. deep concealed back pockets. Overlapping ( or wrap ) leg panels secured by 1 button on waistband and 1 on hem. The super-flare hems can be adjusted ( and tied ) by ribbons 3 ways ( length and both ends of the open hem ). Superb in motion. So many ways to wear. Over the top construction, versatile but above all very comfortable. The best YY pants I have.

YYPH SS12 Look 32 Hemp/Singed Smooth Lace-up Zip Boots ( HB-E10-754 ) - its official title. Size 2 with a slim profile. Black hemp upper with dark brown leather eyelet section and heel, black plastic inside zips. 8 eyelets with dark brown lace closure, upturned toe-box. Thin leather soles.

    Uniqlo Tee.

i've added some ss07 suspender pants in 100 gabardine, + ss04 gabardine coat it would make a fantastic set up (would work in a better price if you get both)

also still up for grabs aw08 silk tweed suit, i could ebay this and get a decent amount of money but hate the site.

Yohji Homme is an amazing perfume. I hope they haven't changed the original formula for this relaunch...
