Another vote for that cubist jacket. Very nice.

How did you like the second item? The long cardigan/coat thing. Very cool construction eh?

EDIT - Thanks for the product codes!

That #4 jacket is getting more and more tempting the more I see it/hear about it...hmm...

oh dear, i'm not posting these as potential buys i'll not have enough money to eat let alone for all the stuff i want lol

i just wanted to throw some fit pics here with the codes

i wish i was wearing a tee, that double layer cardigan (#2) is fantastic but not with a thick multi-ply cotton shirt underneath haha
it seems to show up still on the barneys web site and a few other places, i might have to pick it up later...way later, after the trip. i'm still kinda hopeful about the yohji sneakers
and the last item, the barely cropped woven trousers with cuffed hems, are amazing. i think i'll go back tomorrow to get them for sure, time to return UU and sell some useless rick etc :p

Haha! Well, you never know

I had the same problem with that cardigan when I tried it on, was wearing a too thick tshirt under it. Very great piece. The sneakers are still available on ln-cc (well, I can't remember your shoe size now) in sizes 41 - 42.5 and if you add the extra code they have going (not sure if still valid) should be able to get for a relatively decent price methinks.

Don't think I saw those pants in Paris.

The double cardigan is cut quite slim, I need sz 3 over a Tee with a slight long sleeve feeling but the construction is superb, the cutouts on the sides are a clever touch to reach pants' pockets. Of course the 010 fabric lends it a superb feel in motion. The double layers also allow many ways to wear it. I like it in the fact that it has no shoulder pads lol.

Shah, did you see the " Yohji Suit " in navy in the shop? It's posted on Conduit Street FB & the SA said last week it's still available ( non sale items you see )

Hey. I've been entertaining guests from morning to night since 10 min before the collection was shown so I haven't been able to catch up on the recent discussion and I've only seen the collection on my phone so far - the terrible nowfashion pics - but I just managed to watch the short video and was compelled to log on here and say that it's amazing. Quite astonishing actually, even though my expectations were high. He's on a definite roll now, with the beautiful aw12 hitting the racks later this month. SS13 is just so light, fun, wearable, with great proportions, and probably amazing fabrics. Can't wait to see this in person! Wasn't sue how I felt about the string detail first but I'm definitely warming to it

This is perhaps an easy dissection, but it just sounds like they're pissed that he won't play the game.

I don't know whether this is how it works, but it seems to me like editors are asked to find trends that they can point to each season, as well as single aesthetic directions they can apply to a brand for ease of communication to readers. I guess they might be pissed to see such an influential designer displace their dissections.

I mean, at least in science you want to be able to a) read a review that summarises what's going on in a particular field and b) read the abstracts of the actual articles so you can understand what they actually did. Everyone wants it the easy way.

Wearing SS11 tail coat made from a 84Ramie/16Rayon blend which is quite nice. Hangs beautifully on the shoulders and it's like it weighs nothing. Paired it with a Lumen et Umbra shirt and YYPH pants from AW05 made from 100% wool. Looks like the wool was boiled and then knitted/stitched into it were wool/polyurethane blend fibres to make the stripes on it. I really like these pants. The way they are cut and drape is fantastic! Only reason I don't wear them more is because they are too warm for sunny days. Today is wet and damp though so a perfect excuse. The side seams are also heavily frayed and initially I thought it might be too much pairing them with the shirt which also has frayed edges all over the place (placket, bottom, collar), but I like how they work together. Shoes are by Marsell.
