I had a definitive list of places to go for clothes when I was in Hong Kong Seoul, and Taipei back before the big crash. Lost it all. While I have read the posts here, I have determined that I need to sort a few things out.

    1) I will be in Hong Kong for about 5 days, might not be long enough to get things done, but willing to try.

    2) Going to stop in at Jantzen and get a ferw shirts, with an eye toward getting a steady order stream set up.

    3) Looking for a suit and odd pants. I live in NYC and have had success with various places (Mr. Ned, LS Mens) in getting things made, but I am looking for a cheaper alternative. Does it exist over there? Everyone recommends Chan, but I don't want to spend $1k plus. Anyone over there who does anything resembling custom for less than about $700? Nothing too fancy, nothing fused. (In any of these cities.)

I understand the benefit of bespoke for 1/2-1/4 of the domestic prices, but if Mr. Ned can do a good job for $800 can't someone over there do a good job for $400?

Why not get a suit/trousers from Jantzen as well?

If I remember correctly, they stock decent fabrics and can do odd trousers for US$100 or so. Suits run to around US$450 or so.
