Yet another shooting in Vancouver: 12 dead in 16 days

Absolutely ridiculous, there's been so much bad news with gang-related shootings, hit and runs, etc the past few weeks here. The headline in the paper this morning was "Woman gunned down as 4 year old son watches" http://www.vancouversun.com/news/RCM...867/story.html Now I hear there's been yet another shooting earlier this afternoon when a bunch of guys burst into the wrong person's house, killing one and wounding his brother while his mother watched: http://www.vancouversun.com/dead+aft...198/story.html It's scary to hear about gangsters killing each other, and just sad to hear innocents being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm getting shivers down my spine just reading about it.

Yes, I'm still waiting for the Firearms Act to 'save one life' as was promised when it was introduced in 1995.

It is probably in the hole for at least a few dozen by this point, and doesn't show any sign of breaking even soon.

they were saying the flood of illegal guns is from the film industry, where they don't have to register them immediately and soem go "missing" during that time.

I really don't care if gang bangers are killing each other off because they don't do anything positive for society and the world could do without them. It is sad though when innocent bystanders get caught up in this.
