You should ask the seller some questions about the condition but if it is in perfect shape it is a great deal.

I would be amazed if it is not pre-owned. FWIW a lot of folks consign items that they bought and never wore or wore once.

...beats $5000

The buttons turn me off a little. The lowest row of buttons is below the pocket slits.. You are an athletic person right? I think the lower jacket waist wouldn't do you justice.

It is my understanding that this farmer thing started with Ernest, correct? What did he say? Any link to the thread?

Alchimiste: According to Ernest's Guide to Proper Dressing the following rules apply: 1. Brown is for farmer 2. Alligator and crocodile are only for gangsters Thus using a little bit of deductive reasoning you can be relatively certain that you are dealing with a farming gangster next time you see someone wearing brown gator shoes or belt - thus you will know to mind your manners.

Brown suit is for farmers?  How did Ernest come up with that?

I am thinking to wear this jacket, white FC shirt, washed boot cut jean, and brown cap toe shoes..

I think that will look super hip and elegant.

But I think the suit is used eventhough this guy advertise it as new.

I don't think it's just Ernest. I believe that brown suits are not seen as city attire in Savile Row. Of course Ernest's lack of tact translated this into "brown suits are for farmers".

I don't even remember when this started, it was more than six months ago, because Chuck posted a fall ensemble that was all brown at least partially to make fun of ernest

Moi? It hurts me to think that anyone would ever think I would use subtle irony for dark purposes. Must pout now.

What is the problem, that you did something "subtle" or "dark"?

It's just so fun seeing things go right over his head and splatter on the wall....
