I like Yeossal but I can't wait until they do another GMTO that involves shoes. I live in the southern U.S. and climatically it doesn't make much sense for me to buy boots.

Does anyone have have a pair in the rosewood hatch grain? I was about to pull the trigger on some sienna hatch grains but then saw their post on IG. Are these the same colors just named differently??? They look identical, unless I'm missing the subtle differences...

Gmto landed, really beautiful. Fit is great fir me YSQ tts. Only thing is lace stance. Not a problem now but may need a pad if they stretch much.
Quality is stunning.

I'm new to this brand and wanted to ask a few questions before a make an order.

My favourite last is EG 202 so I think i'm gonna gi with the GQ06. Would you recommend that I take the same size I do in EG? How do the shoes tend to fit?
Can the heel height be altered?

Why are the so (relatively) cheap?

Ok, so noticed a small defect this morning. There is light areas on both shoes along the heal stich (and a small scuff). Not too worried as suspect will disappear with a little dark brown cream but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

My guess would be the shoe has continued to stretch after the colour was applied?

Yeossal sizing is a bit different compared to EG sizing. My recommendation is to contact customer service for sizing advice but I went down half size from EG sizing for most of my pairs. There may be a last or two that requires full size down from EG (e.g.YC8, but it’s no longer available). Just best to ask customer service as they’re very good at responding and provide good information. With regard to the heel, that would be another question to ask customer service. I’ve had the instep reduced to better fit my foot so my guess is they could modify the heel but I’d recommend inquiring.

As for lower price, a lot has to do with where the shoes are made. Cost of labor is far less expensive in China compared to UK. And EG has a lot more overhead expenses (marketing, B&M locations, etc.) that it must pay for. Yeossal made shoes in China don’t have nearly the same expenses.

Did my first polish, marks dissapeared. Saphir Habano cream on the scratches/seams. Renovateur all over. Buff. Dark brown wax on toe caps and heals. Just a light shine on the tips only. Didn't want to do the full caps (although are tempted).

Changed to the flat laces.
After Reno...

Then polish...
