Got my charity auction Vista boots. They look fantastic. The finishing is superb and the last is really nice. They also came with a 3 piece lasted boot tree.

Gorgeous boots! Never knew Yeossal provides 3-piece shoe trees for boots. Is it in the chelmer museum?

what's the GMTO rule here?
Ha ha. I'd bet this happens all the time with many of us. Choices are double edged!I would be but just put in the order for thr vista a few days ago lol.
2-piece shoe trees is a chore for boots, at least for me. Lol. So I made our boot trees in 3-piece.Gorgeous boots! Never knew Yeossal provides 3-piece shoe trees for boots. Is it in the chelmer museum?
Yup, it's Chelmer museum calf from Conceria Ilcea.I don't recall which one specifically, but they could probably chime in and confirm.
You are right on the dot, @rwtcMy understanding is that:
* MTO fee is waived given participation of 4 buyers.
* Only the model has to be the same, but everything else can be customized.
Yeossal can confirm
To aggregate the current prospective GMTOs:
#1: Duxton, minus wingtip, and adding a perforated captoe:
Signed up: bsarosi, rwtc
#2: Shorter version of the Vista (chelsea) boots (shorter than latest picture in the gallery)
Potential*: clee1982
*Not sure if you're 100%, so I've stated "potential"
Also, a big thank you to Jackson for accommodating for my latest (odd) customization... this time an indented steel heel plate, as I want to wear a future pair only for walking outdoors, which I like to do in the summer. Shouldn't sound like tap shoes. I think the Horween Russia Calf in dark brown would be perfect for walking (with Saphir Invulner), if it is anything similar to EG's Utah leather.
Anyone else interested in joining in, in one or both of the GMTOs above? I genuinely believe this is the best MTO program currently available... indented steep toe taps and vibram at ~$50 (done very well), handwelted with a very narrow waist, the ability to customize so many aspects of the product within the MTO & GMTO, all at an amazing price point.

I was hoping the color would be a little darker (closer to oxblood) but I like it. Count me in for the GMTO.
@jacksomeister - is there a photo floating around of all the MTO lasts looking down from above (not just individually on the website)? Or would you be able to provide side-by-side photos of the following lasts : YC3, YC8, YSQ, YRB, and SG65? Those would be the lasts I'm considering for the GMTO.
