Yellowing of shirts

I just retrieved a few white cotton dress shirts I had been storing at the back of the closet, and I notice a marked yellowing of the fabric. They were washed clean and bright before being stored, but it seems to have happened some time in the depths of the Toronto winter. So...
(1) Anyone know what might have caused this?
(2) Anyone know how to fix this?

Could be normal body functions--i.e., sweat.

Try bleaching them--chlorine or oxgyen (though not at the same time).

I would recommend Oxi-Clean, it does wonders.

Thanks gents -- I'll give the Oxi-Clean a go.

I was also thinking of using a bit of Bluing to get that "fresh out of the box" look. Does anyone know where you can buy it in Canada?
