1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    W. Bill emerald/red windowpane. Super funky coloring and texture here. Under dull artificial light (aka my bedroom lol) the tie looks to have an almost mustard/deep yellow warp to the weave...very curious to see how it looks out in the wild.

I'm looking forward to these shirts especially the OCBD and classic Neapolitan style dress shirt. Please use my manly measurements as your fit model. I am tired of cool shirts with way too short sleeves and skinny fits. Trim yes, skinny no.

PS: Don't forget the locker hook on the OCBD. :)

Are you sure you didn't create the pattern for us? Sounds exactly like what we have coming.

A couple of photos that so fail to convey how great these ties are.

    Hi Eric,

The original was called the 'Farmer Brown' from a few years ago. I missed out on it but luckily Rob had enough material to make a limited release - 'Babe Brown' in 3-fold. It is not your standard/traditional 8.25 - 8.5 cm width however, due to the limited material. It is what I consider 'skinny' having a ~7 cm width.

It's a great tie in terms of both texture and colour. I would describe the colour as a peat moss. It was nothing like what I had in my tie collection so I pressured Rob into making me it despite the width and fold constraints. I love it. Got lots of use out of it over the years.

Here's the W. Bill windowpane in action. Picture doesn't begin to capture the texture. Nice and rough like a tweed, but simultaneously soft and lush like a lambswool/cashmere.

Also, the coloring is far more intricate in real life.

I really like the deep emerald colour (similar to that of malachite) with a hint of red. Looks great @ericgereghty ! I also like your knot, dimpling and shirt collar.

Got a little something something here to show off....

Raw denim work shirt sample in the works. I designed this using some classic work shirts that my grandfather used to wear when he worked for White Rock Soda in Red Hook as inspiration. These are going to be made by hand in a tiny little workshop under 15 miles from our apartment using all local labor. Once the first samples come in, I'll get more details out.
