Then I saw these. The Montrose offered by Foster & Son. I sent them an email. Anyone know if they ship to the US?

Weren't those on a PSA a year or 2 ago? They went for cheap at the time.

They are great. But you know they are belgrave boots, right?

I inquired with them a while back. They do ship to the US. Unfortunately, they didn't stock this boot in my size. They offered to make it to order but the upcharge was quite steep.

Sorry - what are "belgrave boots"?

Do you mean that the boots are essentially a higher version of the C&J Belgrave?

If my memory serves me correctly, I've read that in addition to having Foster & Sons sell a re-badged version of the boot, C&J also sell them via their Paris store, and I've also seen them in Japan. Frustratingly, however, they are otherwise not available via mail order nor in the UK or US.

You'll have to get up an extra 20 mins early when you want to wear them. They're a real PITA to put on

I remember the furore over that, the man in the shop said he didn't know what on earth was going on.

This is good news! The Belgrave is actually my favorite C&J shoe and it fits me fairly well, too (the Polo version in 13D anyway). Belgrave:

I have them and this is what they look like with a little polish.

I would say they take a minute or two more to put on but not much.
