    :)

if somebody is interested, a small hint about pricing. Regular price is 1399 PLN (Polish zloty; at current FX rates it is aprox: 440 USD or 330 EUR)

The PATINE store offers a special version (made by Yanko exclusively for them) of selected models ready for putting a patina (coloring).
This version is now offered in special price of 950 PLN (300 USD / 225 EUR). The leather used is undyed calf crust (I don't know which tannery is a producer but maybe I will be able to get this info from PATINE).

Most of them aren't. If they are, it says goodyear welted on the sole.

i guess it is pretty easy too see when they aren't and no they didn't say goodyear, but leather seemed full grain.

Spoke with a Yanko rep today, said that in about two weeks the online shop will be up and running with new models and MTO options.

Any new since the store has gone live?

Would be nice to have someone compare the shoes from Spain and Portugal, and then of course compare to England, US, etc...

I have shoes from Portugal - Carlos Santos, Spain - Meermin, England - Loake, Church, Charles Tyrwhitt.
But! It's hard to compare there are different grades. Also design matters when you have to choose.

If anyone has access to Yanko shoes, looking for model member/name/style of the neutral shoe above. I've reached out to Arsen but not sure where he is located or if still active on the forum.

    What a great shoe project!

I have just bought Yanko boots, model 525 in navy. I am really impressed by the quality of lather and the finishing. Leather was not so soft, when the shoes were taken out of the box, but Saphir cream made the magic. For the price I paid (less then 300 Euro) I would not expect more. Probably better deal I could get only while buying on sales, factory store or seconds.

As far as sizing is concerened I wear UK8 F with Trcikers Stow, Cheaney Tweed and Avon, and the UK8 for the Yanko seems slightly larger. However I have to say that the boot is very elegant, what makes it very versatile option for suit and more casual combination.

Furthermore I am really impressed by the quality of service provided by Polish retailer patine.pl - for me comparable to Shoehealer.
