1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

XMen 1 and XMen 2 were very good movies.

Perhaps, but whomever thought January Jones should play a character that swans around the screen in a skin tight suit and bustier deserves a medal.

    +1

She is bringing some serious boobage to those promotional images. Obviously it's pushup and airbrush technology at work to some extent, but still bonerific.

Whoever thought January Jones should play a British aristocratic woman is deserving of a hot lead enema.

She does do cold and emotionless pretty well.

Honestly, this looks like it's Fantastic 4 (the movie, I mean) redone as X-men.

Should lead to increase in Emma Frost costumes around Halloween time. I approve.

What didn't you like about it and what could it have done better to win your love?

O Hai boyz: http://io9.com/#!5757374/smouldering-first-trailer-for-x+men-first-class-tells-the-real-story-of-the-cuban-missile-crisis All trailers should have this guitar music
Doesn't look as bad as I was expecting, still seems dumb to have characters here that was in the other films outside of Prof X or Magneto. This was supposed to be set in the 60's yet Cyclops brother (Havoc) is here as a teenager but the Cyclops looks like in his 20's in the first 3 films that is supposed to be the present time. Just makes no sense bu whatevers, I'd watch it anyways since I watch almost all comic related films anyways. [IMG] Also, can't they just make her crystalline, like a giant diamond instead of a much of mini diamond studs all over her body? [IMG]

+1 I'm still skeptical but the trailer did a good job of making the film not look campy.

Great trailer for a movie I've had doubts about. Emma Frost now transforms into a glitter-covered tramp?

They should have made her like this:

    Instead of:

Shit looks like diamond warts all over her body.

Something like Iceman/Colossus in X3, right?

Nah, I was disappointed with Iceman and Colosus.

This Iceman is lame, they could have done much better.

They need to either make him more see-through or make him more a solid white snowball, but definitely no hair. Think Silver Surfer in the FF movie but with a matte finish.

    Colosus looked lame too:

It would have been fine it they put the horizontal details like it was in the comics.

I always found the details weird, canon-wise, but cool. I mean, he's organic metal, how does that show manufacturing lines? But the armour-like aspect of the design is cool.

He's ribbed, for her (or his) pleasure.
