I'm not sure, but are the lapels bowing slightly and is the collar pulling away from the neck a little bit? If so, it's very slight since, overall, the fit looks good. I would take front, back and side pictures and post in the Tailor's thread. They have a much better eye for evaluating fit.

I agree with you that this is the smallest 42L I have ever tried on. I've never sized up to a 44L in anything and wear a 42L in Corneliani, Zegna, Ralph Lauren Polo, Samuelsohn, . . . everything. Yet, currently sending back my 42L to see if the 44L fits.

Thanks for posting guys... it's funny because for each customer who provides feedback saying that they run small, we get another customer saying they don't run slim enough! Where is that happy medium?!

From the one pic it looks great to me, but perhaps additional photos would help... how does it feel? Is it TIGHT under the arms (uncomfortable)? It could be simply that it is indeed more fitted and does have a fairly high armhole.

Maybe the medium is going to be half of the customers wanting slimmer and half saying it runs small haha. I received my 36s navy and like it thus far. It's only my second suit (first self purchased) so I'll post pictures of the fit to get some feedback in the tailor thread when I find someone to take a picture for me

Any chance you can post swatches? I'm really happy with my medium grey Classico, and I'm planning to save up for a second suit ... or a third.

Also, any updates on the Benjamin sportcoats? Those swatches looked pretty great. (Link for anyone interested).

Any ehaberdasher codes? There was a free shipping one, wasn't there?

Sorry I just returned from Italy 2 days ago... Milano, Como, Napoli... and still working on getting the site ready to stock up with stuff ordered from the trip!

I'll try to post swatches of fabric and still not sure how I will do it, whether I just order sizes or if I should post swatches and allow customers to order their size (but obviously they'd have to wait for production which can take 6 weeks with this new factory I'm working with).

    What do you guys think?

Why don't you take some pre-orders (I know I want something) and then pick whatever sizes you think will sell using the remaining material?

I think there are enough guys who need a suit very quickly for an upcoming event. So maybe keep basic fabrics/colors in stock - like navy and gray - but let people special order unusual/less popular/more expensive fabrics?

I would be ok with the special order option with the suits and Sportcoats. A couple questions I have though is do you know what cut (granoro, classico, lucente) both the suits and Sportcoats would be? And I pretty sure I wouldn't be alone in asking that if they are special order then how/will you be able to give the exact measurements of the garments as you have done in the past? Bc I'm thinking that if they are special order then you may or may not accept returns. Am I correct?

    Bought a Benjamin Granoro.
First up they obviously took note of Amazon's logistic system because I ordered Thursday night and it was shipped by the time I woke up, express post to Sydney, it arrived Monday.. Outstanding.

I don't know a great deal about suits but this is a very nice construction, material is lovely and soft, fantastic Navy, shoulders are very thin, lovely canvassed feel and lapel.. You can't buy a suit like this in Australia for $500, that much I know.

    It's a 38L Granoro dark navy. For reference I'm 6'2 - 3 with fairly long legs compared to torso, ~170lb (make me a charcoal please :) ).

Would like opinions on the fit and what I should get altered, I like suits slim but not ultra slim obviously, included a pic of a ralph lauren black label 38r I have and love (unaltered).. ( I prefer the jacket length on this one though), do you think I can get this one similar fitting to the RLBL?

Also the pants just seem a little 'long' in the crotch, I just sort of grabbed the back and pulled up a bit, can it be altered like that?

Very happy so far! (unless everyone says it fits like crap :z)

^^^^ From a non-suit expert's eyes....I'd say it fits pretty well. Perhaps take it to the tailor and see if you can tidy up the back a little.

Just might do that. Just want to make sure everything will be in place and not over-promise anything...

To simplify things I think we'll just start with the Classico model. I have a new Napoli model that is AWESOME but want to first test it with a small production. It fits slightly slimmer than the Classico and has natural shoulders. Truth be told it's a clone of a Kiton. Special orders would be stock sizes to keep things straight forward, I think. No exact measurements involved - not ready to take that risk (yet). That way returns are an option, although there may be a restocking fee in the case of the special orders.
