I have tried both. The fit might be said to be similar in terms of chest and higher armholes - maybe overall slimmer than most US suits - but the RLBL has strong, padded shoulders, while the Benjamin has soft shoulders. Both are good, but definitely a different look.

Yes agreed. That's what I was referring to when I said a more dramatic silhouette - in the RLBL there are broader stronger shoulders and a more suppressed waist than the Benjamin.

It's BB's "sack shirt" - modern slim, but no darts .

For those that have the navy Benjamin suit, how dark is it? I do not like the navy suits that look black (Brooks Brothers), but prefer ones that are clearly navy blue.

Any updates or expected arrivals of the new Benjamin suits, shirts, and sportcoats all in the new fabrics that you have been talking about? I'm sure that I'm not alone when I say that I am excited and have been checking every couple of days here to see if any new updates have been posted. Also any new pics of other swatches of suit, shirt, sportcoat fabrics that are coming that we havent seen yout post already?

Sorry if this has been asked before but have you already selected the special fabrics you intend to make the granoro in? Also, do you have an estimated price point for those? I have one of the grey Benjamin suits and really love it. I'd like to pick up another but I don't really need any more staple colors.

It is a dark navy but definitely not black - it's not even midnight.

We had to do a quite a bit of back and forth with the factory as there was an issue with the trousers (we are making the trouser just slightly larger in the waist and seat and also tapering the leg by 1cm from the knee on down). We still hope to air freight the Benjamin stock suits (navy, charcoal, medium grey) before the end of July. We are working with a different factory for the sport jackets and limited edition Benjamin suits and hope to have them in August. We do have small swatch pieces and will try to get around to posting them in the next week or two... thanks for your patience.

Prices for the limited edition suits are still TBD, but probably 15-20% more (possibly even higher for the super-luxe fabrcis) . Fabrics are from Colombo, Zegna, Tallia DelFino etc. and include some ridiculous fabrics like 180s cashmere/silk, cashmere/vicuna, etc.

Figure I'd do my part and add to the testimonials about Benjamin suits.

I'm a bit under 5'7", ~165lbs (I've got a belly), and measure up as approximately a 37S. Here's a few pics of me wearing a charcoal "Granoro" Benjamin in 38S. I sized up instead of down with advice from Mike at eHaberdasher, and that seems to have been the right way to go.

Pants are (obviously) unhemmed in the pic. I'd prefer slightly narrower shoulders, but then, I often have that problem (being a 37S apparently means you have 36 shoulders and a 38 chest). It's been suggested that the front balance is a bit short; I wonder if that means I should size up to a 38R?

I've tried a number of suits before and after this one from all sorts of brands (including J. Crew, SuitSupply, Lardini, and Caruso), and the Benjamin fits best. I eventually returned this suit, but only because I'd rather have it in medium grey instead of charcoal.

In short: fantastic suit. You better believe I'm going to be all over any medium grey Benjamins in 38S when they drop in (hopefully) July.

If anyone has additional feedback on how this suit fits, I'd love to hear it.
