Yes I agree peak lapel with natural shoulder wouldn't make sense for us... maybe we'll try a small run in a dandyish fabric... maybe...

Wow those are some open quarters - button stance a little high too like the Maestro and Lucente models... but yes as far as shoulders the 3 roll 2.5 may look a bit like that. Still might do one SB peak for fun, but not high on the priority list. I agree that they're not ideal for staples.

Thanks for the supportive post! The subtle pick stiching, double vents and all those details are standard for the Benjamins. We might actually also have hand made button holes - at least on the lapel. We have some Caruso suits that feature this and it's a nice subtle touch.

Yeah I follow. Don't worry - there'll be some great stuff this coming year and we're really excited about it!

Hey what do you guys think of elbow patches on sport jackets? Thinking of doing some jackets with a few as they have grown in popularity in recent years - I have 2 in my own closet that are more casual and unconstructed featuring elbow patches (one's a charcoal wool flannel with light gray patches, while another's a brown tweed with classic brown suede)...

Only cool if they are earned, not bought on a new jacket

really? I can understand not buying jeans with holes on a new pair of jeans, but I look at elbow patches a bit differently... anyone else care to weigh in?

plus the highly regarded Cucinelli seems to throw elbow patches on almost everything he produces.

Just my own personal opinion of course...I like a lot of Cucinelli stuff, but then I'm not into his blazer+cargo pants fits.

Hang in there - we ordered them - hope to have them by end of April/early May! Basics only though: charcoal, navy and medium gray.

Is there any demand for beige/tan?
