I will probably close this out at the end of next week, and delivery should be mid November.
I bought a pair of these for my Bella Spalla jacket in navy hopsack and LOVE them.
I tried finding them on the site yesterday when I ordered a brown plaid bella spalla jacket for the fall and couldn't find any that were in stock.
I did notice however that some of the new jackets including the MTO Benjamin Sport Coats (http://ehaberdasher.com/index.php/c...q=MTO+BENJAMIN+SPORT+COAT+-+PRE-ORDER+DEPOSIT) come with horn buttons!
@eHaberdasher, the MTO jackets are half-canvassed, right? Sorry, I know you've clarified this before, but I'm having trouble finding it at the moment.
I sprang for the brown / rust check. Trying to discern what's the best color of trousers for pairing.
We will be restocking the buttons soon!
Sort of... There is a very light canvas piece but is not technically half canvas. It's a soft jacket that is called zero gravity. We can make it half canvassed though but thought the soft unconstructed was really fantastic.
And now that fabric is sold out!
Any chance you'll make suits with ticket pockets and notch lapels?
Haven't received an email regarding sizing. Assume we should just sit tight and will hear after MTO closes?
Are your talking about the chest measurements on the MTO jackets?
If so, they've been updated on the site.
No, I misread and thought we would receive another email asking what size we wanted. But after rereading the initial email, it said to reply to the confirmation email with our desired size.
Just a few of the Carlos Santos available on eHaberdasher
Recently made my first purchase from eHaberdasher, a Stile Latino sportcoat. Cannot say enough about both the service I received nor the jacket itself. First, the service - the jacket shipped quickly and rather than being stuffed into a small box came folded gently in half on a quality Stile Latino hanger, packed into one of the nicest garment bags I've ever handled. Onto the sportcoat, which is in the top tier of non-bespoke tailored garments I've come across. It's a gorgeous, dense brown wool-cashmere hopsack that is reminiscent of a knit sportcoat from Boglioli et al. while maintaining excellent structure and form throughout. It's also beautifully proportioned, I was most concerned that despite the measurements the jacket would be short and slim. On the contrary it's a classic length and there's actually more room in the chest than would be expected from most modern-leaning Italian brands in a sz 40R, plus there's sufficient seam allowances throughout. Finishing is of the highest standards, and I just need to have to basting removed and buttons sewn-on now, but I'm incredibly impressed. Would highly recommend purchasing this brand from eHaberdasher for anybody curious.
