On your Chan suits, are the buttons plastic? I didn't pay attention with my first suit but it comes to my attention when I received my second suit that the buttons are plastic. Why plastic? When my old Hugo Boss suit used some sort of nut to make the button. I am not a happy camper..... [IMG]

Why do you think they are plastic. Mine are pretty clearly horn.

They used to use plastic, but I believe they have switched to horn. Just ask them, they're word is their bond. I have also supplied buttons on occasion which they will use.

Most big fabric stores have horn buttons--often made in France.

If you get to NYC, there are many buttons stores including ones that sell antique buttons.
