As the title. I am going to Hong Kong at the end of this month and am thinking of getting my pattern established with the tailors there. Do you think I would have a better experience in the Armory or Kowloon? The Armory is clearly more convenient to visit, but I am wondering if the fitters might be more experienced in Kowloon.

I think you'll end up poorer if you go to the Armoury.

The prices are different?

Or are you just implying that I'm going to end up buying a ton of stuff

It seems that the Armoury guys have a distinctive look. If that's what you want, perhaps they might be the best to guide you. To me, that's their added value. If you already know what you want, you may prefer to go straight to the source.

Same price.

I went to Chan for first two fittings, will go to Armoury for 3rd.

Also- Chan sends their guys to Armoury to hold fittings, so you're taken care of either way.

And honestly, it's just 5 mins away by MTR.

Ah most excellent. The gents of the Armoury are always so well turned out. I will email ahead to investigate.

This is heartwarming. I should have had faith that the guys at the Armoury would ensure everything works well.

Could someone please enlighten me about "the Armory"? I am only aware of Chan's shop on Nathan Road in Kowloon...and their Shanghai establishments, of course.
