Can someone please clarify regarding WW Chan prices for two-piece suits? On this post from 2009, I get that the HK prices are about 30% cheaper when compared to the US. I've learnt here that on Chan's current US tour, his VBC 2-piece suits start at US$1300. When I rang the HK store about 30 minutes ago however, I got told that the HK price for a 2-piece VBC is US$1550, which is quite a bit more than the US price. Can anyone help clarify?

FAIK, the prices are the same. You just get fittings while in HK. You get fittings in the US, but it takes time and money to ship the stuff to and from HK.

I think Emptym is correct. The VBC differential may just be because they were referring to a different VBC book. I am not sure how correct the numbers are in the thread that you are referring to; I know e.g. that an H&S suit I ordered last year now runs more than $300 more.

When I responded to that thread it was cheaper because I got it from Chan itself. I'm not sure what the difference is now.
