WTF wrong shoes shipped from Allen Edmonds

Hello, I think this is my first post here. So I recently ordered a pair of Allen Edmonds McAllister (Walnut), and when I got the shipment, these are the shoes I got:

...WTF? I was not expecting this kind of service from them, and while I'm furious, I actually think it's really hilarious at the same time. But seriously, WTF? Has anyone ever had anything like this happen to them from AE or anyone really? It looks like whoever was packing the shoes took their shoes off and swapped them out for my McAllisters.

Based on your picture, I don't see the problem. Does it just turn out that they're not your style? Or are you trying to say there's a defect with the pair they sent you?

Edit: Oh wait, I see it now. My bad. Those aren't the normal AE insoles. Weird.

OP, sometimes when you get a gift like that you just have to accept it at face value. Don't question the fickle finger of fate.

I'm detecting some pretty serious bowing issues.

Well, I just found out today, since I had it shipped to the office and not home, that this was actually an elaborate office prank. So AE didn't mix up the shoes, and now I feel marsupialed, haha.

That's a pretty sweet prank right there. They reseal the box and everything?
