SF - looking for some help. I'm having a beach wedding soon. I've been searching for the right suit but haven't had much luck. Don't have time to get something MTM or custom, so I thought i'd ask if anyone here had something SF-quality they're looking to unload. I have a solid back up plan, but would like to get something nice just for our wedding even though I'll likely never wear it again. There's also a good chance it'll end up getting a good salt-water soak if I decide to dive into the ocean but that's beside the point.

Ideally, ivory or white in linen, silk or silk/linen blend. If you have something else that might work for a tropical beach wedding, let me know. I'm a 40R with a 35 waist/30 inseam. Anything that is reasonably alterable to get to my size will do as I've got a great tailor. The price will obviously reflect the quality of the suit.

Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from some of you.

    Cheers!

I can order an ivory linen suit from Samuelsohn and have it here in about a week's time. I can double check pricing for you, but I want to say off the rack it's somewhere in the range of a $995 piece. Would that be something of interest to you? Thanks!

Thanks Gentry. Will keep it in mind. I've been happier with the Samuelsohn for Paul Stuart, but not ecstatic about what I've found under their own label. Odd, eh?

That is interesting but it also makes some sense to me as well. Paul Stuart (IMO) advertises as well as any store in the country and really gives their clientele a sense of satisfaction in the products they sell, even though they don't manufacture their own clothing. Where did you purchase your Samuelsohn item(s)? I've always felt that Samuelsohn gives their national retailers pretty ''cookie cutter'' options whereas small stores like ours purchase a more diverse selection of fabric that would be more in line with what you see at Paul Stuart.
